Chamwino Ikulu, is a village of about 10,000 people in Tanzania Africa. It is home to many Gogo people, a people who are noted for their skilled musicians. It is also a village where school books are scarce, and funding for educational opportunities are hard to come by. Chamwino Connect is a small group of people in the US with the vision to encourage a nd support educational opportunities in Chamwino. Many educational projects need funding in Chamwino, but by starting small with a weekday preschool, Chamwino Connect is hoping to become a sustainable partner in the support of lifelong learning for the people of Chamwino. The building for a children’s center is underway and the writing of an early learner’s curriculum is in the beginning stages. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt will go to the completion of the children’s center.

Uganda Outreach $20 (tax included)

Northern Uganda has been in a state of civil war for the past 20 years and the suffering of the Ugandan people, children in particular, has been immense. Tens of thousands of children have been abducted into ruthless rebel militias that brainwash them into becoming cold-blooded killers with no conscience. Families live in constant fear of these rebel militias and many retreat to mass shelters. 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt will be donated to Invisible Children, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children receive a quality education and to provide viable and sustainable economic opportunities in Northern Uganda.
